Very friendly staff, great shakes, good food

Don't get me wrong for a little fast food joint 3 stars is a good review. But know what your getting, which is basic fast food. Prices are a little high but not bad and the food is solid. If your looking for quality this is not your place. If your looking for cheap, solid, fastfood then you've found your spot.

Good Burittos & Tacos, Love the habanero sauce!! Nice crunchy fries!! OMG & the vanilla milk shake was to die for!! I will be going back to try other stuff.. .. Yes!

Fried cheese curds are the BEST in Leadville along with the best green chili and very reasonable prices.

Seriously. This place in terms of food is awesome ONLY IF they get your order right. I have lived in Leadville for three years now and I would say it’s a 50/50 shot if your order is even perceived in the right manner. 50%-that’s on a good day. Check your food before leaving!

Not awsome food, but cheap and friendly

The food was not very good. I would have preferred Taco Bell or Dell taco to this. The prices were also absurd for the quality and portions you receive. The service was also bad and made ordering hard. Would not recommend. Mountain high pies is very close, very good and about the same price, but better in every other aspect. Go check that out before wasting your time at Gringos!

Great food, great price, just check your order as sometime they are so busy that they forget part of an order, has happened to me twice in the last week.

Great family owned restaurant highly recommended been here 6 months cheapest in town they get busy be prepared to wait but for value and quality well worth it!

Horrible place. We waited 40+ min for a beef burrito...in the drive thru!! The wait time is ridiculous, two of their employees were smoking a cigarette walking out of the kitchen, no wonder it took so long. Were did up being “that guy” and dipping out and not getting our food. I’ll give them a damn burrito to chew on

Mexican menu leaves a lot to be desired. Pork tenderloin is definitely the best item on the menu.

What a horrible place. Waited an hour for food. Was served raw bacon and burger. The bacon was so raw it looked as if it was taken straight from the pig. Wondering how long it has been since a health inspector has been there...... Don't waste your time. Better off eating road kill, which seems to be the only option in Leadville.

The food is pretty good, it just takes forever to get your order. As the only drive-thru in Leadville they lack that speed expected for "fast food" but at least you know it is fresh. Their parking lot is filled with potholes and there is a bus stop pretty much in the middle of their parking area.

Food was good but the restaurant is gross. Tables were firmly and greasy. Booths have huge holes in them. It's a shame because the food is great.

Awesome food but always a long wait whether it is busy or not. The beef burritos are great. Add sour cream and get the homemade hot sauce. The whamola is also excellent. Just don't ever go there if you are in a hurry.

Yum... I have a green chile cheese fries problem. YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT! But trust me it's well worth it, just play with your phone and chill.

First time leaving a negative review but I rely on reviews when we travel. Due to the place being very close to where we were staying, I ignored the reviews. Friendly cashier, but food took 55 minutes for our wrong order, a kids meal was missed and had to wait longer, other orders were just sitting in the window unattended, and it was freezing inside. The burger was okay, not terrible, and not the best. Fries were over cooked and cold. IF you have time to kill, might be an okay place.

Good food just takes 30mins to get it

Asked for a slopper, great green chile, however they also added ketchup and pickles. 😫 Charged me over $8 and didn't include fries.

As an athlete who needs a lot of food, I am happy with the bang for your buck that Gringo's offers. Their burgers, fries, and blizzard/concrete mixer products are great. The Whamola burger has a big green chili strip and is tasty.

I asked for a milkshake with Oreos. They said they couldn't do it..and I get it all the time... The Mexican Girl just didn't want to do it.

I have never left a food review in my life; however, my experience every time I come here is bad. I want to like Gringos but they make it really easy for me to hate the place and their food. The drive thru ALWAYS takes thirty minutes plus when I go. They say the food is made to order but even that is extremely sub par. The last two times I went I simply ordered a bean burrito and they managed to mess that up. Beans were dry and absolutely disgusting both times. I than attempted to give them another chance a week ago and they did the same thing. I should’ve known better than to try them again. Where is the quality control? This place is not what it once was and they ruined a childhood staple in Leadville for me. Please, refer to the picture so you can avoid a bad meal and experience.

Worst service ever. Did not answer the drive thru. Had to walk in. When asked what came on the bean burrito the checker said "beans, meat, cheese, lettuce..." Meat!!!!???? I said "no, just a basic bean burrito. Beans, cheese and onion please." Asked if I could get green chili sauce inside and was told no. I had to put it on myself. Burrito came with just beans and lettuce. Had to go back in and do it all over again. And was treated like a nuisance to boot. Green chili sauce tastes burnt. Ugh over it.

The food was good, as per usual. I go kinda often as a person who doesn't eat fast food much, but I don't consider this place your typical McDonald's. The food is prepared with some class and always hot. I believe their fries are cooked fresh every time as I have never had a cold fry from them. So good. And their is always really friendly staff working there. Always greeted with a smile. All in all, a great place to grab a bite. Super affordable on top of it all.

Not bad real long wait and quit expensive. The tacos are horrible stick to burgers. Fries however are very good and the reason to go there.

The food was pretty good. No complaints there. I would say that the interior needs some upgrades. The seats were torn on the booths and it overall looked dirty. I'm giving it a 4 star based on the food being good. We had cheeseburgers and fries and cheese curds. Can't rate their Mexican food because we didn't try it.
